Designtek ONE played a pivotal role in the fast delivery of election results to the City of Chicago Board of Elections web site. Designtek ONE has been working with the Chicago Board of Elections for years and is fully maintaining the web site and live results pages.

The Chicago Tribune praises the work of the Board and its associates in its February 24 editorial The City Does it Right stating that "the Chicago Board of Elections, [which] ran a crisply efficient operation Tuesday, with few problems in the precincts during the day and a stunningly quick vote count at night."

Almost all local and national media praised the work of the Board and its associates for having delivered 75% of the vote count within 34 minutes after the polls closed. In a February 23 statement, the Chicago Board of Elections says that "Chicago voters saw unofficial results from 75% of our precincts by 7:34 p.m., 86% by 8 p.m. and 98% by 10 p.m., and with this election, all of it was shared with the public and the news media in more detail than ever before. Our warehouse team, our Election Judges, our trainers, our technicians and our computer staff all deserve a lot of credit. All of them showed a strong comfort level with the newer equipment.”
