DesignTek ONE is changing the core technologies used in its web development and eCommerce platforms. The company has historically utilized the combination of Microsoft and Open Source tools with great success. However, the company has decided to adapt a wider range of Open Source tools based on a Linux, Apache, MySQL platform.

The tools used by DesignTek ONE include a wide range of Open Source systems for providing robust CMS and eCommerce solutions. Some of these tools are:

• Joomla
• Drupal
• Magento
• OpenCart

The new core technology adaptation by the company will be highlighted on its newly designed web site announced to be launched in the 1st Quarter of 2009.
